Spring is in the air and
preparations for this year's Spring Fling are underway!! Please mark
Friday, June 7th on your calendar and plan now to attend this fun, family
event. This event is one of Glen Stewart Primary's main
fundraiser's, with proceeds being used to better our playground/outdoor
areas. This is a major event with many game stations, new-to-you table,
face paining and of course the amazing dessert cafe. With such an action
packed evening we do require many volunteers. Volunteer forms will be
sent home at a later date or you many contact the Home and School
committee at glenstewarthomeandschool@gmail.com . Please
stay tuned for more updates....
Home and School would like to send
out a huge thank you to those parents that kindly donated such delicious
cupcakes before March Break. We were able to raise just about $350 to go
towards purchasing new gymnastics equipment.
Our next Home and School meeting
will be held on April 8th at 6:30pm in the literacy lab. Feel free to
bring your children if this makes it easier for you. The computer
lab will be open as well as some colouring/activity sheets will be
provided. The agenda will be located on the Blog and on the
Facebook page prior to the meeting. The dates for the remaining meetings
for this school year are May 13th and June 17th, at 6:30pm.
